Hello, my name is Rick, I have spent most of my years raising cattle and producing eggs on my farm. I would have to say that a lot of my time was spent on maintenance and repairs, so it seem fitting to start a blog on helping others take care of problems that might come up around your house. I look forward to hearing from all you out there that enjoy tackling those projects and issues that come up from time to time. We can swap stories and nightmares of things that went wrong or right and put a touch of humor in it all.
A man ask me a while back if it would be ok to bury an extension cord in order to run power from his house to his work shed. This is just one of the many humorous questions that i have been ask over the years, not that it was a stupid question, it would have got the job done, but not for long. Many times, we just don't know, that is one of the reasons i wanted to start this blog, to help those who want to do those handy man task that come up around the house or barn. We all, if possible, want to for the most part,to fix these problems ourselves. What i would like to do is to bring a more light hearted, less stressful approach to dealing with many of these issues that will surely or later come our way. By the way, it is always best to use direct burial 12-3 cable, than to bury an extension cord. I look forward to hearing from you soon
